I don't use lactase enzymes and tried using lactose free milk and gut did not like it. Don't know why and the ingredients in other non-dairy milks don't look good due to ingredients including preservatives.
I've kinda given up on soy milk, rice milk, and any other milk substitute except for coconut cream (not coconut milk).
I buy cans of regular coconut milk (Thai Kitchen brand) and skim the top cream off and throw away the liquid. Use it in tea, coffee and homemade desserts where milk is called for (thinned with ayer when milk is called for.)
I know that's not the answer you're asking, just my 2 cents.
(My gut behaves soooo much better without milk products although it's fine with butter and aged cheese).
