a fracture of the money they spend on hopeless wars in the Middle East would be enough to make some real progress in medicine, but i guess it's much more cost effective to kill people than to heal them. This is something people have said for as long as I can remember. it's like saying, "we are working on a world where everyone lives comfortably and well above the poverty line". It's a nice idea, but is it more than a nice idea? I don't think so. Not to say the body couldn't heal itself but i just don't think the pentagon is going to make that happen. I've worked for the government and they are the most disorganized, mismanaged people on the planet, lol. They throw your money into the most useless things imaginable. It's a nice little powerpoint though, I could make the same thing with the same grandiose ideas in an afternoon, too bad there is not much basis for making it happen. People have to present this crap to get funding to build whatever it is they want to build, and then they build something that amounts to nothing with that money. I hope I am wrong but that's my experience with the government.
