The more I look into curcumin/turmeric the more impressed I am.
Here is some research on how it has been found to be effective against a boatload of diseases, studies reported by a reliable source, National Institute of Health:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3535097/I have been taking curcumin/turmeric in 1000 to 3000 mg doses from various manufacturers for over month now and having wonderful results and no side effects (except have to be careful about
staining clothes with the loose powder).
Besides working on UC it seems to be protective against other diseases in my genetic strain including Alzheimers, diabetes and other diseases. I don't need to wait for "nano-particles" to arrive, I take it daily.
edit to add: now I get the difference between cucumin and turmeric. Turmeric (the spice) has only 2 to 6% curcumin in it. Curcumin is the active ingredient, the one we want.
