did anyone get that IBS blood test?

I've been watching a few online talks about digestion and that new blood test for post infective IBS was mentioned. There was a thread discussing it back in May. I'm wondering if anyone got one done? In the study it seemed to say it wasn't high prevalence in IBD people.

I think LL mean infections IBS....as far as the IBS blood test, I posted a link about it a while back and I think someone else may have as well...I don't think it's available in Canada yet, but I'm not sure.

Just googled it to double check, "post-infective IBS" aka; post-infectious IBS. I meant to type "infectious" not infections in my reply above lol.

The IBS blood test is fairly new...it's designed to test specifically for IBS so it helps with proper DX...hopefully it will soon be available everywhere so people with IBS finally have confirmation. I think it will be helpful for those of us IBDers that also have IBS to have validation so that we don't always assume that it's our IBD causing issues and it also confirms that IBS differs from IBD which too many think it's related somehow.

Tests detect biomarkers with greater than 90% accuracy
To validate the accuracy of the blood tests, Dr. Pimentel and colleagues analyzed nearly 3,000 people aged 18-65, comparing participants with IBS with people with inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease or no gastrointestinal disease at all.

The researchers found that the blood tests identified anti-Cdtb and anti-vinculin antibodies successfully with greater than 90% accuracy. These antibodies were elevated in participants with IBS compared with participants that did not have IBS.
