It's crazy how weird this food stuff is with IBS or whatever the issue is. So frustrating to work though. I 've also cut out a ton of whole foods or natural foods for the same reason. I'm trying to add more and get more variety though.
I can tolerate fries and organic ketchup. Regular ketchup like Heinz bothers me. And tomato sauce is ok with me but only from one particular brand. So strange. It's organic and comes in a box instead or a jar - like a juice box. Any other brand doesn't work well.
I was nervous with the raw baby carrot and chick pea experiment at first as well. I had a few small carrots and a lot of hummus, then waited two days to see if there was any bad result to either and moved forward from there. For me carrots are easy to tell cause they would normally pass right through me virtually undigested. I was thinking or trying cauliflower tomorrow in the same fashion. A little at first mixed with humus.
Can you eat salad? Or lettuce really... I seem to be able to eat Romaine lettuce fine and spinach in very small amounts. Or I can juice spinach with zero issue. Anything else like spring mix cleans me out.
Salads are something I miss very much.
