still flaring

I can't for the life of me figure out why he would not be willing to initially prescribe Rowasa or Canasa when you asked for it. If you are flaring it is pretty likely that the rectum is involved since it always starts there. That is just crazy. i agree with Quincy with the Rowasa at night and a steroid foam/enema for the daytime. I would also make sure that he is willing to give you alot of refills where you could gauge if you need the rectals and use it at your own timeline. If not I would start to interview some other docs.
