The info leaflet of the Pentasa enemas says the enemas should be stored at temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius. I was wondering, has anyone of you sent enemas by mail abroad? Because an airplane's cargo hold gets very cold during in flight. The info leaflet does not say anything about 'not freezing the product', and I have mixed thoughts about what to do exactly for when I'll be away from home for a couple of weeks.

Any help would be really appreciated!

You can take enemas in either your checked or carry-on baggage on airline flights.

I get mine shipped to me because I need th sulfite free version. They have arrived without incident so far. I would be fine checking them but you can bring them on the plane, just seal them in a plastic bag in case the pressure changes cause them to leak.

When you say you get yours shipped, do you mean by plane or sea? And the problem with taking them with me in hand luggage is because they're bulky and as far as I'm concerned you cannot take more than 10 units of 100ml liquid items :/
