So, just to check -

Going multiple times a day diarrhea for months and now seeing blood for the first time in a while is a bad sign when it's 3 days after your fifth infliximab infusion (at a double dose, not having been sure if the drug has worked at all yet) and on 2 steroid enemas a day? We can agree that's not a good sign right?

Sounds like the plan needs to change does it not?

Multiple times, like 8x or 3x? If it's 3x, that's not too bad. It might be an improvement, but is it enough to keep your quality of life where you want it to be? some people are perfectly fine with going 3x+ a day so long as other symptoms are managed... Have you considered Uceris or something along those lines to try to get things headed in the right direction? I didn't have a response to remicade personally. I probably gave up after about 5 infusions, the last couple were double dose. Remicade seems like, either it works for you, and you get to 100% fairly quickly, or it doesn't work. Even if it works slower to get to remission after a few infusuions, the response is quite noticeable - not just a little improvement. Some people get symptoms when they get close to their next infusion, but not 3 days after an infusion. Has your GI mentioned adding 6mp or Imuran? I guess at that point, you have to question whether you should continue taking the remicade if you're not sure it's providing any benefit. The cost and inconvenience, putting drugs into your body, potentially for nothing.
