how to deal with meds when traveling for the holidays

I do a mesalamine enema nightly and a hydrocortisone suppository every morning. We are traveling to stay with my husband's family for the holidays. It's a tight space with very little privacy. Shared bathrooms/shared bedrooms etc. I don't want to have to explain my medication routine because we're not really close on that level.

The suppository probably won't be much of an issue, but how do I deal with doing the enemas every night without explicitly saying what I'm doing? When I'm gone for 5 minutes somebody is asking where I went. Then there's the issue of disposing of the enema bottles and sometimes the mesalamine leaks a bit onto the towel. We're flying so I don't have much space to bring my own towel, although I guess I can bring my own smaller towel and put it on top of the one I use there. I'm also going to try my best to stick to a diet that doesn't cause stomach issues for me, but I can't guarantee it due to the foods I'm used to not being available there. Having to share a bathroom with multiple people is making me anxious.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but does anyone have any tips for how to manage when traveling and staying at someone else's house?

you don't have to get into the medication with them, but you have to make any dietary needs clear. your health is precious. if they won't cooperate don't go.

I agree with toomuchpoopin, I know I would just think that someone in washing their face or getting ready for bed etc. when staying with people and I'm worried about the toilet situation, I just scope out the surrounds, sometimes there's a gas station close by, or a park with public toilet access if I want privacy. Being a smoker used to be good for that, I could duck out and nobody would ever know.
