I have been on Entyvio since July of 2015. Was on prednisone since Aug of 2016. This is the only drug that has kept me symptom free. A few days ago I started noticing some similar side effects as when I was flaring. Waking up early, having to have a BM in the morning, left side pain, etc....Has anyone been on E and saw it work very well and then have a flare and it just be a blip and go away? Any help or similar experiences would be helpful!

Please give me hope!

While Entyvio never worked for me, when I was on Remicade it worked very well for some time then it began to fail. Flare symptoms started creeping in so we started to adjust my dose and frequency and also added prednisone as my flare symptoms started to show a week or two before my next infusion. Ultimately Remicade failed and I was taking the max dose at 4 week intervals. It was working to a point but not enough to keep full symptoms in control.

Anyone can flare at any time regardless of medications or other treatments used. Sometimes it is a small blip, other times it's a moderate flare, and sometimes it's a flare from hell. If ypyr symptons have been consistently worse for 5-7 days then contact your gasteroenterologist.

Any blood? Pain and urgeny are signs of inflammation. A stool test is always good, to rule out c diff and other infectious causes. Fast onsets can be infectious and we're more prone to getting them, especially when immune-suppressed on meds like Methotrexate and entyvio.
