Remicade and trough levels

After being hospitalized and being refractive to IV steroids I have been on 3 infusions of remicade for the last month now. The results the past 10 days have been outstanding. From 20 bloody BM to completely normal. CRP from 40 to zero.
Of course I know that research shows that when people go down my road of being refractive to steroids and having pancolitis that my chances of a colectomy are still high. Should i be ensuring my doctor examines my remicade trough levels before my next infusion? Is there anything someone can do to maintain their infliximab levels other then just hope eternal?

Thanks iPoop. One other quick question i had. I literally a week after my hospitalization went from 100 to zero on my symptoms. No blood and formed with no urgency. The last two days i have noticed a small amount of mucous but no real blood. You think i should be alarmed that the remicade is not working or see it as a normal up and down of the very aggressive colitis i am recovering from?
