PPI use. Does it interfere with any of the meds or bad for Coitis?

Does anyone know? I have been having some heartburn lately and might go back on one of days to keep my stomach acid down. Any side effects with the meds like mezavent and alascol? Do PPI's worsen inflammation?

What PPI are you using?
No...doesn't interfere with the UC meds that are enteric release.

Just to add that stomach discomfort and limited rectal involvement flaring go together.

Have you been checked for h. Pylori? If not, a blood test can help see if you have the antibody.
