In the store today I rushed into the women's room and both stalls were taken, so I rushed into the men's room andused that bathroom instead. Thankfully no one came in and I was able to get out of there. I went back into the women's room after, so I could finish my business. How mortifying. Better than an accident though, I guess? First time for everything.

I guess the worst thing that could happen would be a weird/puzzled look if you walked into someone as you were leaving. I'd just assume that someone had read the sign wrong.

I had to do the same thing just a few weeks ago. There was a line of women waiting for the restroom, and the men's room was vacant. When I came out, another woman who had been waiting walked into the men's room and said to me as I passed her "why didn't I think of that?" We do what we have to do to cope with this awful disease!

When you got to go, you got to go. No harm done. Glad you were able to avoid an accident.

With all the relabelling and Unisex bathrooms those problems should get better. I carry my card, but have no qualms about using the mens room in an emergency.

I sure hope things start evening out for you when you try the trial med thingy. You struggle has been such an eye opener and an inspiration. We are warriors.
