I don't think one NSAID will be that terrible if you're in remission, but of course, it's better to avoid them entirely if you can. I know it's hard with migraines, nothing seems to work like an NSAID, even now, with my jpouch I am scared to take them, but I do when necessary - very infrequently thankfully. I use ponstel, which is a dream for my migraines, but it's an NSAID. Have you see a neurologist? There are a lot of medication available that can help. It's a lot of trial and error to find what works for you, but it's better to have something in your arsenal that you're comfortable taking.
