Sad to hear you're in such a serious state. What meds are you on now? And is a wound care nurse seeing you daily?

So sorry to hear, had to look up "inguinal", sorrier still.
I've had MRSA, got mine from a now-fired primary doctor with poor skin surgery prep.
My MRSA did not come back but it was gross while dealing with it on shoulder and it responded v. well to antibiotics. A couple years later I thought I got MRSA again cuz a skin infection blew up so badly went to ER for Vanco IV but lab says it was standard SA (not the MR part).

If you are using the special soap Hibiclens be careful about using it on other parts of your body that don't need it, especially if female (guessing you aren't). By-product of that misuse (which no one told me about) was getting a yeast infection because all the good bacteria got wiped out.
