Holding on the phone for medical questions

Hi All,

Whether you're trying to call your doctor, your insurance, your medical supplier, your pharmacy...how much time do you spend on hold or talking about your medical issue on the phone to an agent or medical person per week?

Anyone have any advice as to how to cut time spent?

get things sorted. Once I was diagnoised, on medication, adding some specific neutrients, I spent more time on the phone getting a referral to other doctors or to changing my primary than I ever did for UC medications, office visits, or bloodwork.

It's sporadic. I only call insurance when I have a new to me procedure, have had to change in health insurance policies, etc. That's when surprises happen, I gotta call, stay on hold forever, and get answers.
