What antacids do you use with Lialda?

Recently ended my 8 weeks on Uceris and dropped my Lialda down to 2/daily. Since, I seem to be suffering terrible sour/acidic stomach. I’m reading that Pepcid, famotadine, TUMS, etc are not good with Lialda. What do you take?

The issue with antacids is they change pH levels. Lialda is made to release when it encounters less acidic conditions in the colon.

If you make the stomach sufficiently less acidic, it may release there or in the small intestine.

If you need something, try to use light dose and keep the effect only in stomach.

I found fennel tea helped with acid. I had bought Prilosec and Tums both, but became hesitant to use them for my acid after reading. Don't know if it would help you or not. I already had some because someone gave it to me because it's supposed to help IBS symptoms, but I also found it on a list of natural things to help with acid.
