Sadly I have no prescript
ion deductible. My deductible for both prescript
ion drugs and medical care is the same one: $2700. So yeah, never doing my husband's company's HSA plan again. We only chose this plan this year because we want to start a family and it had the lowest out of pocket maximum. And of course, two weeks after the plan kicked in, I find out I need to be on expensive medication for life.
So yeah, I'd rather not spend $2700 just to have my insurance then pay 80% of the Canasa cost. I would still pay $200 out of pocket every month. Canada sounds like a good plan
On the plus side, I get one free colonoscopy a year regardless of age or reason, preventative or diagnostic. So there's that.
