Quick update first. My fecal tests all came back clear. In fact, they didn't even show inflamation. I will be doing a colonoscopy soon as a result. I have been back on 40 mg of Pred for two weeks now, but have gotten a little worse, not better. I almost canceled, but I went on a trip cross country for a week to visit my best friend. While there, we went to the beach for a couple of days. I had a day that was just exhilarating with beauty between the sunrise, the ocean, and a rainbow over the ocean. I got so excited I forgot my body and ran. (I have struggled with walking long distances) I hurt so bad the next day. Not sore muscle, but like someone poured concrete in my muscles. That evening, I had bloody accident and ended up passing more blood at one time than I ever have. I was just bawling because I wanted to believe I am getting better. Kind of scared me because I had not been seeing any blood at all. I calmed down, and have not seen really any blood since. It helped me remembering reading about others sharing how seeing blood can be an emotionally distressing symptom. I am super glad that it seemed to be more of a one time thing instead of me just getting drastically worse. I don't quite get how the colonoscopy helps. I go in on Friday for my third Entyvio infusion, but have not been scoped since Jan. 2017. Can I expect another scope in a few months for comparison to see if Entyvio is working?
