Just another bump in the road

Ugh, had blood in my stool this morning, but haven’t really had any other symptoms lately. The only wrinkle was that I had a very painful ovarian cyst last week on my left side which my gun thought was likely to rupture. If it did I didn’t notice it, but I ended up with mucus for a couple of days after that. I have kept up my rowasa regimen however I only have 9 bottles left and express scripts won’t have more for me until April 2. I called my doctor today and got a new script for 4 lialda a day. Lucky me, of course my husband is leaving town for 10 days for an international work trip on Thursday, too. Likely stress is not helping me here. Fingers crossed this responds quickly. I think I have 3 bottles if cortenemas too, but I need to check the expiration date on those when I get home.

That's a blow! I hope you can get things under control asap. I think worrying about whether you have enough rectal meds wont be helping either!

Great news that you have some ammunition. I noticed my migraine meds were never filled, and I regret that now too... You could always see if your GI has any samples they can give you if you're in a bind.
