Yes there have been a number of posts over the years by medical professionals taking these meds, as well as teachers of young children (those with the highest risk of being around illness), yet they do well. At most, expect to have one additional cold/flu a year when on these meds (it might last a couple days longer, hit faster, and the extra day might be with the worst symptoms).
If you're concerned about
the risks versus benefits of taking biologics, then here's a good read/watch on the actual odds by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America:

Nothing is entirely without risk, and nobody can promise you will not get side effects like infections. Pretty much, expect an infection requiring antibiotics to hit you much faster and with stronger symptoms, so if you suspect you have one then seek-out antibiotics faster rather then try to wait it out (your immune system is a little weaker and can't respond as strongly). If you are now prone to getting UTI's or sinus infections (and some get them regularly before these meds), then it's something to consider. If you're lax on getting treatment then the risk is an infection spreading and turning into a sepsis. Sepsis is a word to remind ER and doctors about
, to eliminate as a possibility, should you ever be hospitalized with a high-fever with quick onset. Odds are low of getting a sepsis, but it is a fast mover when you got it.
