Felt like flare was starting up so Dr changed my meds from Apriso to Mesalamene, the generic for Lialda. Anyone here taking it and having good luck with it?

Apriso is mesalamine, but formulated as a maintenance drug. I suspect your doctor prescribed the generic Lialda due to its high dose allowances (4,8g) to control an active flare.

Many here are using Lialda and it works well for them. Keep an eye on your symptoms after the switchover, occasionally someone is worse when switching. Cheers!

Are you also on rectal meds? The oral wont deal effectively with the rectum.
I suggest retention enemas....mesalamine.

I've been using it since I got diagnosed. Works great for me.
