I've noticed on weekends, I tend to go less times than work days. Weekends, I have nowhere to rush off to early in the morning so less anxiety about it; sleep in later, lounge about the house in pjs, etc. Weekdays, I'm laser-focused on waking up extra early, giving myself ample time to poop, and rushing around getting ready.
I don't think UC is all in our head (obvious physical changes and measurable inflammation). But I do think there are at least subconscious related mental-crap that affects our bms and frequency. There's at least some gut-to-mind connection in some sort of way that I do not fully understand.
Good luck, and remember that you can always take imodium an hour before practice if you're worrying about going while playing!
