Rowasa and Canasa at same time

Ugh, so I am in week 5 since my third inflectra infusion and suddenly I have mucus, blood and some frequency/D, so the GI sent me in for some blood and stool tests today and ordered Rowasa and Canasa. Though Lialda gave me migraines, she thinks that I may have better tolerate the rectal meds. She told me to do Canasa in the morning and Rowasa and Canasa at night. I am assuming the Rowasa first, since the Rowasa may push the suppository up. For those who do this, how long after the enema do you wait before inserting the suppository?

Space them apart in time. Often folks do rowasa at night, and canasa in the am (after all of your typical morning poops). You can do rowasa and then canasa about 20-minutes apart, the time it typically takes a rowasa liquid to absorb fully. Doing both simultaneously will be extremely uncomfortable and difficult to retain either...

Thanks! Tests show no C. diff, and still waiting for Imuran level test results from an outside lab. I am hoping we can just do the supps if anything is needed long-term -- I find them much easier to administer and don't notice them once they're in.

I do Rowasa at night and Canasa in the morning.
