if it is absorbable, that can be an issue.some types of fibers are not. also with L-glutamine, I could feel a difference is stool, so some got to the finish line.
if it is intended to work systemically, than you actually want absorption. so this would be very dependent on the way it is supposed to work. Only the topical ones need to reach the gut.
but this is a question worth thinking about for any med or supplement
