Holy blood, Batman!

So I passed a big clot of blood just now with some regular blood as well and I am flipping out! I was at my doctor yesterday and he took a bit so gentle look in during my appointment and told me he still saw some puss but no bleeding. Told me to hold at 15 mg of pred for now and taper by 2.5 every week. I called and left a message on their machine, but my doctor isn’t in on Friday’s, however I am hoping the nurse will reach out to him today.
I was totally floored by this. This am I had a great BM, just 1, same Bristol 4, no blood so this totally caught me off guard. I have no pain, no urgency or anything. The only things I can think of are 1, the visit irritated something, 2, I played a 3 hour rehearsal last night and the pressure from playing my instrument is aggravating my colon, or 3, thus is a nasty flare up and i tapered pred too quickly (or didn’t start night enough, started at 20 mg on 11/2). Do you guys have thoughts? I don’t think if myself as someone who panics but I am now!
On the plus side, my doctor called in Canasa to use during the day to treat the inflammation he saw in the last 5 cm that looks the worst.
Current meds- 4 lialda, 15 mg pred, nightly colocort

Pus and not mucus? Seems more is going on....when you get a hold of her on Monday, ask about antibiotics.

some bleeding after a day after probing (even gentle) seems reasonable. I would not worry unless it continues.

Good regarding the blood today....did he take a biopsy?

I think a rest is a good thing. I also suggest you stop the krill oil for a bit.

Hope the addition of the canasa helps.

Try alternating taper of the pred.

as we have very fragile mucosa, I'm sure the doctor's intervention is a culprit so it should go away on its own

If a musical instrument is making your ass bleed, I think you may be playing it wrong.

It is pressure on the pelvic floor, I play the bassoon, so lots and lots of pressure in the butt area. It has always been something I worry about, never really bothered me before but if something gets irritated, cut, it gets worse. I definitely had worse bleeding post scopes if I play. Sadly I started a new thread earlier, definitely the steroid taper not going well. Went to see my doc this afternoon again.
