6MP is a weight-based dosage, typically 1.0 mgs (low end) to 1.5 mgs (high end) per kilogram of body weight.
As an example, I weigh 160-pounds or 72 kilograms. So, my 6mp dosage would be 72kg x 1.0mgs = 72mgs a day to 72kg x 1.5mgs = 108mgs, My current prescribed dosage is 75mgs daily of 6MP, which is common for docs to target the low end of the scale for this med. Of course your blood test results determine your actual dosages, any toxicity and a lower dosage is used. General guidelines on where to start though!
You can certainly continue using 6MP at it's current, prescribed monotherapy dosage for yourself (that's what I am doing). If you want to use a reduced dosage for just antibody prevention, then a single, 50mg pill would be fine (from what I've read others here take over the years).
