TMI alert- wet farts and UC

So sorry for this TMI post but I’ve done google search and couldn’t find anything. I have UC mainly in the sigmoid colon.
Is this a common thing with UC- passing gas and having a yellowish liquid come out? The amount is like a half teaspoon (not that I measured) and trust me this doesn’t look like feces. I assumed in past this was mucus, but after googling the mucus with UC it sounds like typical clear mucus (which I’ve never had anything clear). Is this UC symptom or do I now have IBS? Some other details, no fever, no pain, no blood, no chills, I’m on Asacol. And the last thing I’ve eaten was lentil beans and oatmeal. Thank you!

Yes, I get that too. I explained it to my GI as oozing. I usually have to increase my enemas to get that under control. Idk why it happens, if it's lingering inflammation, not fully in remission, or from food or stress. I think if it continues, you should ask your doctor to go over your maintenance meds. (as I should too!)

I used to get that when i was flaring. Touch wood it hasn't happened in months.
