My family and I are traveling for a couple of weeks and I am currently using my sfRowasa every other day. Should I bring some extra enemas just in case? I would hate to need them and not have them should things go downhill for some crazy reason. I have plenty of space to add them in our luggage, we are flying.

YES take extra. We recently went out of town for a planned vacay and ended up staying a bit longer. I didn't even think about the fact that I only brought barely enough oral RX and started worrying, being several states away by car. I dunno why I only brought "just enough", could have easily brought more. Arrived home with 1 days dose to spare.

A few years ago we went on an extended drive trip of 7,000 miles for 6 weeks and had to jump through hoops with my pharmacy to get advance RX to take with me. Had to explain we'd be in Canada part of the time and also US national parks away from chain RX stores.

We are going overseas and sfRowasa is so hard to get, I will put an extra box on my suitcase for sure!

Even in remission, I pack meds when I travel.
