All's well that ends well - I've been approved for a new loading infusion! Having it on the 10th Februrary. Keeping my fingers crossed for a cold day, so that if the idiots mess up the delivery again the Stelara will still stay cold.

I happy for you that you advocated for yourself in getting the Loading Dose. You see, it's not that hard. Your persistence paid off.

The loading dose is really easy, I think that I was there for 30 minutes or so and I felt fine afterwards. I also had a lapse in Stelara prior to my loading dose. I then had my levels checked and I had no antibodies develop.

The infusion is really easy - it's only 30 minutes, like you said. I had to stay and be monitored for two hours afterwards, though. Not sure if all hospitals require this, but my one did. It's not a big deal, just so long as you bring something to do (phone, book, etc), otherwise you'll be bored out of your mind.
