For the first time in two years, I'm officially in remission. LOL I've been so since just before Christmas; but was hesitant to 'brag'. Life is SO good right now. I'm fully aware that a flare could rear it's ugly head again at any time, but for now...life is just WONDERFUL!! For two years I barely left home. When I did so, I was under constant stress and worry about having an accident in public. So, I mainly stayed home. My doctors got rid of the C diff and gave me Florastor probiotic and Clonazepam for the anxiety I was having....as well as my 'regular' meds. I've felt SO good and 'normal' again. NO diarrhea, blood, excess gas, or inflammation!!! My poor wife and I have been making up for lost time and going to all of the places we missed. To all of you who are in a flare, hang in there and don't give up! There HAS to be some real cure for this terrible illness; I hope the good scientists will find it soon. Best of luck to you ALL and I thank you for all of the advice and support from you guys. This is the best group of people I could have ever found to share such an embarrassing condition with. Stay well and know there's hope
