First Remicade side effect ?

Hello. Last Friday they decided to start me on Remicade after my colitis flair and food poisoning with Yersinia. At the time of the infusion I did not have any troubles. I am now noticing fatigue, some disease fuzzy feeling and some tightness burning in my chest. Just wondering if this is normal? I will be off another week for work so I’m hoping I can get a custom to it. If it stays like this is going to make work really hard. Thank God I’m not running to the bathroom every 30 minutes. The bleeding has also greatly reduced. I think the prednisone finally kicked in.

I am thinking it's the prednisone causing this. I did have a reaction on the 3rd infusion, but it was immediate. The infusion was stopped, in a bit I was given IV Benadryl & Soluble Medrol & resumed the infusion. With pre-meds I never had another problem. If it happens again I would discuss it with the dr.

Quick (5-second or so) bouts of dizziness/light-headedness, and joint pain (mostly in my knees) and funny pain in the palms of my hands when I grab things- gripping the steering wheel hard, for example. Used to be on several things so couldn't nail it down to just Remicade, but now it's only been Remicade for 2+ years so I know it's that. Typically within the first 2 weeks after an infusion (but never right away).

I continue to be feverish. Right now low temp of 100. Also really fatigued.

I think for me will you see symptoms I can tend to run these low-grade fever’s. It might be a cold also. Just feel really drained and sick-ish
