Hi folks,
Been on this forum for a couple years(zero posts in 2 years i know :/). I am really happy about
the support that i have gotten here

. So lately i have been watching a lot of Joe Rogan and saw Dr. Rhonda Patrick talk about
Sulforaphane and how beneficial that is in general. I started some digging and found some studies that help colitis like:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4335778/ (This one is for Crohn's but i believe the anti-inflammatory action will be beneficial to colitis as well) which was already discussed in earlier posts.
However my topic here is different. We all know that imuran can cause things that we don't really want(with low probability). I always used to think of what we could do to reduce that risk and looks like 'Sulforaphane' might be something. With it's extreme 'anti-oxidant' properties, maybe that will be of some help? Sorry if i sound like a moron :D
One study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4335778/ (It specifically talks about
Azathioprine and Sulforaphane)
Cheers
