Medical Question not Related to UC?

I know this is a UC forum, but I was just wondering if anyone knew much about Eosinophils blood test? I have been having a high pulse for a while now so my doctor ordered blood tests plus I wore a heart monitor for 48 hours.

My blood tests came back and only two were marked out of range.

My ABS Eosinophils was 3.4 and the standard range listed is 0.00-0.70 X10E+09/L

My WBC was 12.1 and the standard range listed is 3.8-10.6 X10E+09/L

So I can see both are related to my white blood cell count. I looked back to my last blood tests when I was flaring in 2017-2018 and both were normal back then. Anyone know what this could be related to? Could it have anything to do with COVID or ulcerative colitis?

Eosinophils are often elevated (a modest amount) in people with allergies and/or asthma. Less commonly, elevated levels indicate a parasitic infection or certain autoimmune conditions. UC and Crohn's are both known to increase eosinophils in some people.

WBC are often elevated in infections but also can be elevated in many other conditions.
