Stool getting firmer but with fresh blood

Hello everyone, first of all, thank you for existing I have used this forum on and off for the last 13 years and more than everything it has given me a sense of hope when times where hard.
I am currently in the middle of a long mild flare, or a series of several mild flares.
Since the flare is taking so long, I have also decided to reduce smoking. a habit I have kept mostly to avoid UC.
I am taking Salofalk enema 4g 2-3 x a week + daily oral mesalamine
now.
My only symptom lately is lose stools. In the last two days I have had firmer stools finally, but on closer inspection I noticed bright blood. Not much, but it's there. I'm planning to see my gastro and ask him to prescribe me enough daily enemas for a couple of months,
since he only ever gives me a pack of 21.
Do you hav haven't experience with stool bulking up and that causing bleeding? I feel like this is not the first time this is happening to me.

I haven't had bleeding again since that day. I have stopped checking since two days ago because I'm on my period and that obviously makes monitoring a bit complicated.
It seems like I only bled that day when I had firmer stools. The next days stool was softer, and no more blood. Now I'm wondering if I just can't see the blood when the stool is soft. It could also be that things are improving in increments, regrssing then improving a bit ...
I will continue the enemas in the maintainance dosis, 2-3 times a week and see how it develops the next weeks.

So I went today to get a new prescription for enemas. My own doctor wasn't there so receptionist prepared the prescription and when she brought it to the other doctor to sign, she came back and said that this other doctor wants me to have a colonoscopy soon. She explained, that since I've been using enemas for six months now "there must be something wrong". I said fine yeah will have a conoloscopy, but my own doctor told me to use the enemas at my own pace. This other doctor then came out of herroom and told me, "these enemas are short term solutions, if you use them for too long they will break your colon.How old are you?" to which I replied , 35 and she said "well I'm sure you want to live to be 100, wont happen with these (Salofalk enemas), you might need another medication" then she asked the receptionist about my last calprotectin levels. The calprotectin from december was 115. Then this doctor said "see? they are a bit high, think about the colonoscopy" and then she left. Obviously, I asked the receptionist for an appointment with my own doctor.
This left me very...anxious. I'm glad though that I'm not somebody who has just been diagnosed. I've had this for 20 years and I am a bit more immune to bad doctors. I mean she basically told me "do you want to die?" 10 years ago this encounter would have been enough to send me into a flare.
Just had tor rant a little here!

Anyways, got my hands on 21 new enemas
