Noticed my sons stools are now formed however, noticed some thick blood (pinky) almost clots on the surface of the stool.

Is this part of the healing process?

He has only been going once a day. Almost as if the stool is catching the clots on the way out?

Still inflammation but healing. What dosage of pred is he on at this point?

Watch him because this is the “danger zone” of pred wean in my experience.

Seems at that taper dosage, the % decreasing is much larger than at a higher dosage.
He could do an alternating dosage taper or smaller decrease such 3mg.

Or ask for steroid enema low dosage to use during the day.
