This is a phase 1 clinical trial, but boy would it be nice to have something as effective as Prednisone without the side effects.

Sounds great. Only problem I foresee is it’ll be so darn expensive we won’t be able to afford to use it. (Big grrrr! at big pharmacy/insurance)

Apparently, there's already trials for it in paediatric ulcerative colitis.

I'm skeptical. There are always side effects, they just haven't fully discovered them yet.
They used pregnenolone before prednisone was discovered, and preg is much more gentle... and it's OTC to this day. They have to make new drugs to see profits, that's all.
