Had the second loading dose of Remicade last week. In 3 weeks from today I’m having the third one. Have to have blood drawn 1 to 2 days before the next infusion. I guess they are checking for levels of Remicade in your system? Don’t have any dates yet for infusions after the next one.
Feeling better after starting Remicade, not without some symptoms.

Faithmac, nice to read that you can tell some difference this early, that's a good sign. As far as the next infusion date, how much notice did the drs office give you for last week's infusion? Don't let the 3rd infusion date slip through the cracks with the drs office or infusion center.

That's unusual for them to check for levels before you've even had all 3 loading doses.

I hope the Remicade helps you.

Had all 3 appointments made at the same time. Next week I see the infusion Doctor. Had to affiliate myself at the infusion center with a MD.
They take blood every time I go. Just got the script to have blood drawn before the next infusion.
So I guess first one then 2 weeks second then 4 weeks from then is the third.
Have no clue why they are checking levels at that time. I go to a specialist since having dysplasia twice.
Probably will have another calprotectin soon too. Last one was 30087 right before I started Remicade.
