Humira temperature

Hi,
My GI changed my dosage today from bi-weekly to weekly and I went to pick up my meds.

They gave me a cold pack and I put 4 boxes in there for 2 months.

When I got home, about an hour and a half drive. I noticed inside the bag wasn’t really very cold and neither were the boxes…even the cooler pack showed liquid as if either it wasn’t properly frozen when they gave it to me or somehow melted quick…

After I put the boxes into a cold fridge, I placed a turkey thermometer in the bag with the pack and closed it for 20 mins. The temp showed 16C… the boxes say that it has to stay between 2C and 8C. If at room temperature to be used within 14 days…

Im freaking out that now they are useless and given how important it is that these work, especially now its weekly. Im worried they wont be valid or even worse, cause myself harm.

What are your thought’s?

I had this happen several times when I was on Humira. Better to be safe than sorry. I agree with ipoop.
You can also call Humira directly. They have a help line phone number. I called it often with questions just like yours. They were helpful.
