I have more loose poops on days that I use enemas, because the enema comes out as well. I don't really over-analyse stool consistency as it's never been a useful marker of flaring for me (I've had fully formed stools together with severe proctitis, for example)

What were your symptoms before starting the enemas.
Are you also on an oral mesalamine?

Hi Midge...you are definitely improving. Is the stool more like diarrhea, or like cow plop? Food intake could also be part of it...
I agree that if you were sensitive to the enemas, I suspect you would have had little improvement. How high was your inflammation
location?
Are you on probiotics? You could try adding a fibre supplement (slowly with meals) to see if it helps bulk up the stool a bit.
