Hello all,

I understand ASACOL (full name above) was discontinued. Does anyone know

if there is an exact replacement of this drug ?

If youre not referring to Asacol HD, and are referring to the 400 mg tablets, it's been called Delzicol for many years now. They also have a generic of it now, just called mesalamine.

I'm in Canada andnhave used the Teva 5ASA 400mg for years.

Quincy, my pharmacist at London Drugs in Vancouver informed me that this drug,

as named by me in my post ( I believe it is the generic version), has been discontinued.

So it should still be available ?

It's available...haven't heard anything to the contrary. Just had my med refilled over the last monthas you see, the date at the bottom of TEVA is 2022.
