I'm on Rinvoq for UC since early Sept & Have Strep! Ugh...

I have been on Rinvoq since early Sept for UC & presently on Prednisone 25 mg (tapering off). I have been doing great, but now found out I have Strept (my 20 month old daughter has it too).Thought I should get tested in case. I am not at all sick. I am pretty sure I have to go off Rinvoq. Still waiting to hear from my GI.
Has anyone else gone through this?

You might not need to stop Rinvoq, especially since you aren't sick. See what your doc says.

I highly, highly doubt they will tell you to stop Rinvoq. Your immune system is being more suppressed with the prednisone anyway.
