Any Withdrawal Symptoms after Stopping Azathioprine?

Has anyone experienced any withdrawal symptoms after stopping azathioprine? If so, what did you experience? I'm not referring to specifically flaring up of UC, but rather anything like rash, fever, etc.?

No withdrawal symptoms and will add I was very happy the day I stopped it.

I had zero symptoms when my gi stopped it.

Same. It was like poison for me. I only took it a month.

I was on it from 2011-2020. Had to stop because I was battling mrsa. No withdrawal whatsoever but I dont think it did anything for me either.

Not sure that I had any withdrawal either; I hated the stuff - I was miserable on it.

I’d also question the fact that you could get withdrawal from it, the med takes so long to build up and then leave your body that is so slow that it couldn’t cause any withdrawal.

I don't think it takes long to leave your body. It's half life is only 5 hours. I felt completely back to normal within 2 or 3 days of stopping it after feeling terrible for the month I was on it.
