Flaring on Rinvoq upcoming scope

Hi all,
I've been on Rinvoq for 1.5 years, was on remission in April 2024, and got a flare-up in May which put me back on 45 mg Rinvoq. While poop is starting to form, the last part of the colon seems to not budge. spewing mucus, light bleeding, watery diarrhea, then the formed stool comes from upstream which in some cases looks decent and gives me some encouragement.
I'm also on Budesonide 3 pills in the morning. Taking VSL#3 3xday. mesalamine enemas at night, alternating with hydrocortisone enemas.
Gave up dairy when I started Rinvoq. Gave up wheat/bread 2 weeks ago.
I have a colonoscopy coming up Aug 5 which my dr. initially said let's skip it because I'm flaring, but when I told her it's been 5 years since my last colonoscopy, she said let's do it.
So Why is my colon so stubborn? any thought ideas of what I can try?

You didn't mention urgency as a symptom-- so that sounds encouraging. Could be that you just need to stay on current meds longer than you were expecting back in May. (Or maybe do the hydrocortisone enemas nightly for a couple weeks before switching to mesalamine ones.) Include boiled white rice in your diet if you haven't already. It's strange, though, if your gastroenterologist hasn't done a c-scope for 5 years but put you on Rinvoq! / Old Hat (40+ yrs with left-sided UC; in remission taking Colazal)

OH has a good idea to try the steroid enemas solid or a week or so and see if that's helpful.
How many times a day are you having any output? And when is the majority of it?

The urgency is definitely there, I forgot to mention that. I have white rice, potatoes, as a staple. Salmon, ckn, some red meat, bananas, started blueberries and quick oats yesterday.
I produce most of the output in the morning 2-3 times. Them 3-5 times during the day
Gas is what causes my urgency. And no matter how much mint tea i have i still have gasses.
I failed entyvio and inflectra (infliximab) in the past so she said lets try Rinvoq

I didn’t mention that the hydrocortisone enemas they work great for me to get me through the morning. But when the afternoon comes their effect has disappeared.
Btw I think i may have just gotten COVID 👍
Have to call my GI tomorrow what to do with Rinvoq now
And most prob cancel my C-scope Monday
