I’ve been mildly flaring all summer but finally got it under control and checked with the FCP test and it was normal. I also have hemorrhoids so that confused me.

Now I’m getting rectal discharge every day. Looks like pus, mucous, and it looks pink. What could it be without colitis symptoms?

Anyone else get discharge without stools? It often happens with farting or the straining to fart.

I get that sometimes but it would be at the beginning of a flare, so if you are not flaring then I don't know.

Definitely during a flare...I increase the enemas to nightly and double my probiotics. What meds are you on now?

I've had this many times over the years. Especially in the last month. Sometimes I feel it fluttering down my sigmoid colon. Yes I'm flaring, and on Entyvio, that doesn't seem to help much yet. I do have hemorrhoids that love to inflate and I see visible bright red on the TP. I am waiting on a FCP result too.

Your FCP is normal which is a really good sign. Try not to worry. For me, I really don't know where the mucus originates from. However, I'm searching to find out. In the meantime I try not to fart unless it's on the toilet! Lol!

That’s how my proctitis presents when I start a flare. Any sign that I could be flaring I increase my Visbiome probiotics.

I agree it’s most likely proctitis in the sigmoid. Rumbling gut, lots of wind. Mucus. But no diarrhea or blood. Could be IBS? Just so annoying having a noisy gut.
