Nope, the coumadin hasn't caused any problems at all. knock, Knock, KNOCK. But then I'm either in symptomatic or total remission. And I never did have any problem w/bloody stools and tended and still do tend more to mild constipation rather than diarrhea. We haven't discuss a scope since I was started on coumadin so I don't know what I'll run into when we get around to one.
I know, fat lotta help "I" am!!! Sorry 'bout that!
Its been since last August or September since I was started on coumadin and we are STILL having fun finding the right dosage! The longest I've been able to go between blood draws was one month - once. Mostly every 2 weeks now, but weekly for quite a while. One week I'd be high, next week I'd be low. INR will be as low as 1.3 one time and as high as 3.8 another and anywhere in between. Only one time was it happily smack dab where we wanted it - that's how I was able to go that one month between INR draws.
I'm NOT complaining! There are so many whose lot in life is so much worse than I mine. I"m grateful for my many blessings!!
I wish CajunBrat would let us know how things went at her appointment Thursday!
