Atrial Fibrillation

Hi Tony, my brother had this done some time ago & yes he was sedated & didn't know a thing. He really did not have any problems when he woke up.

My husband has A fib & has had it a very long time. His dr tried shocking his heart 3 times trying to get it back in rhythm & it did not work. The dr said it was worth trying but because of the length of time he has had it his odds were not really in his favor.

I had an ablation June 2016. My advice is to be clear about what the procedure entails and the possible side-effects.!!!
Presently I am suffering from a chronic cough that began the night of the procedure and I have difficulty breathing along with fatigue.
I am seeking answers and find that physicians are not willing to try to find the why this has happened. The Surgeon deals only with his area, the cardiologist his area, the primary care doctor is unwilling to look for answers, since the surgery I have been on two rounds of antibiotic and one round of steroid. I have upcoming appointments with gastroenterologist and pulmonologist in November as I try to cope day by day feeling worse than I did before the Ablation.
