So i am a 54 year old female, a tiny bit over weight. I had a major infection 2 months ago that cleared up. I don't smoke and drink occasionally. My blood pressure is perfectly normal but my heart rate during the day is around 100-110. We have a lot of pets and I have a lot of stuff to do during the day and I have some moderate anxiety and have a little trouble relaxing. My doc said it's fast from recovering from the infection? I'm paranoid my heart will stop or something. Does this sound like something I should worry about
? Also EKG was normal a month ago but heart rate still is somewhat fast during the day.

I would try and relax if you can , take your docs advice about
the infection recovery.
I usually have a low HR as I'm on beta blockers for high blood pressure but I have a bit of a virus so the last 2 days mine has been high for me.
Try to not worry.. And recover 100% from your infection and it will regulate soon.
Xx take care

I wouldn't worry too much at this point -
what is your diet like ? any caffeine ?
what meds are you on ?

I thought a normal heart rate was anywhere from 60-100 bpms. The fact that you are still recovering from an infection, have some anxiety, and those 5 glasses of iced tea - yep, listen to your doctor - don't worry.
