Sammy,There is a drug, Zofran, that dissolves under your tongue. My surgeon recommended that, and wrote me a script for it when I requested one. It's a drug that is often used for patients undergoing chemo, and is very effective. It comes as a generic, but I don't think that one dissolves. It's very tiny, though.
For stomach bugs, I have Compazine suppositories on hand. You won't want to vomit or retch after your surgery, as it's hard on the wrap. I carry both of these with me, and have had two surprise attacks of vomiting--one at the one year mark, and one at the two year mark. Each time, I vomited once, then took the suppository and didn't vomit again. It worked well, because I could always tell when it was time to take another one, as the nausea would reappear.
Get something to help with the nausea now, and get some drugs to have on hand, justin case.
Good luck!
