Hi everyone!
I haven't been on here in a while, because my LPR had (HAD!) improved.
Now it's back with a vengeance. Trying to figure out the cause. At the moment, my stomach seems to be digesting VERY slowly. Feels like food sits there for a while, leads to bloating/belching/gas/LPR. Finally digests, then I can eat again. But then the symptoms start again.
I was reading about SIBO, and was going to attempt Fast Tract diet again. But also wondering about lack of stomach acid as women get older (I'm 47) which might delay the digestion of food, leading to these icky symptoms...? Or, is it gastroparesis (which, I don't know much about, and not sure what helps it)? Or can SIBO lead to Gastroparesis? Was going to try to cut out gluten, but the past couple of days I've eaten gluten-free, and still get the symptoms...
I've had the tube down my esophagus/belly, and nothing suspicious. Thanks for any advice!
